This backplane is part of the Modicon X80 range, a common platform of modules for Modicon M580 and Modicon M340 Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). This Ethernet backplane is an accessory of programmable automation controllers. This dual X-bus and Ethernet backplane with power redundancy is composed of 8 X-bus and Ethernet slots for any modules and 2 X-bus slots for X-bus modules only and has a power consumption of 4.22W. This backplane supports a large choice of modules and can be extended thanks to its XBE slot. This ruggedized product can be used in more severe environments and operate in an extended temperature range, from -25°C to +70°C. This backplane has a current of 164mA at 24V DC and 86mA at 3.3V DC. It is furnished with 1 connector (XBE) expansion module for electrical connection. It is an IP20 rated product. The backplane has a weigh of 1.377kg. This product meets the needs of our customers from Smart Infrastructure, Water and Waste Water, Consumer Packaged Goods, Mining Minerals Metals, Data centers and Power generation. It meets EN 61131-2, EN 61000-6-4, EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61010-2-201 standards. This backplane is compatible with X80 power supply, M340 or M580 processor, and Modicon X80 modules. Modicon X80 range offers common compatible modules that reduce maintenance and training costs with the same spare parts in stock and unique training for different Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). Modicon X80 provides a single environment for the deployment of I/O modules in automation architectures.
