ATV DISTRIBUTED PAC MODULE

The Altivar ATV dPAC module is part of the EcoStruxure Automation Expert hardware controller range. EcoStruxure Automation Expert is a new category of software-defined automation, enabling next-generation integrated architectures and Industry 4.0 solutions. This drive-integrated IEC 61499 distributed Programmable Automation Controller can be used from highly distributed to drive-centric architectures. This controller includes 12 MB program memory, on a single-core processor, and is hosted in Altivar Machine ATV340, Altivar Process ATV600, and ATV900 variable speed drives. Its programmable application logic can control the drive's motor, and leverage the embedded I/O, extended I/O, relays, and encoder option modules (up to 23 discrete I/O, and up to 7 analog I/O). It supports Modbus TCP/IP client (up to 8 Modbus devices, for example, Altivar drives and soft starters, TeSys motor starters, remote I/O with TM3BCEIP bus coupler, PowerLogic meters, Harmony Hub wireless sensors). It also supports a Modbus TCP/IP server, OPC-UA client and server, SysLog, NTP, and NETIO. The Altivar Graphic Display Terminal can be configured to display data of the Altivar ATV dPAC application logic. The standards and certifications must be checked in the user guide of the Altivar drive hosting the ATV dPAC (ATV340, ATV600, ATV900).
