This VigilOhm probe is designed to monitor current and identify insulation default on underground / IT electrical networks from the main feeder to the charge level. It has to be associated with our VigilOhm mobile fault locator IMDMFLK1 to enable real time display of the resistance and capacitance. This probe operates under a voltage up to 600V AC/DC Cat III and is composed of a handle, a safety system lock and an openable tore monitoring up to 3600A. The CP15 probe has been specifically designed for thin cable up to 12mm of diameter within tricky places, its compact design enables high accuracy and manageability with an accuracy from 0.5% to 3%. The system is adapted for short or long distance cable and network reaching tenths of kilometers. To use it properly, the cable shall pass through the opening of the probe and the probe shall be fully closed to ensure a good current flow. The cable shall respect the maximal diameter named above and shall be positioned in the center of the probe's opening without touching the device. For more versatility in cable monitoring, the probe IMDCP100 and IMDCP50 can also be used and enable to monitor cable with a diameter of respectively 66mm and 44mm of diameter.
