This I/O module is part of the Modicon Momentum range, an offer of controller and IP20 monoblock I/Os for distributed control architecture. It is a discrete solid state I/O base for DC. This output base supports two groups of 16 outputs. It is electronically safeguarded against short circuit and overload. The internal communications connector provides automatic communication to any adapter mounted on the base. It is a CSA and UL certified product. It weighs 0.21kg. The I/O base provides the foundation for the rest of the Momentum control system. The 16 inputs are IEC 1131-2 Type 3 conformant. Momentum I/O base has mounting holes for a panel mount and a locking tab for a DIN rail mount. Momentum I/O bases offer simple plug-in terminal strips. Modicon Momentum is a flexible, modular family of fundamental components. Modicon Momentum products are specially designed for material handling, simple machine control, and building automation applications.
